Abstract

Digital curation and Linked Data are essential foundations for managing and publishing data in information environments and become a growing theme in Information Science studies. Outlined in this field, new issues emerge for the studies of representation and organization, which are traditionally allocated in the disciplines of treatment and analysis of information taking the bias of the maintenance of the digital context, called as digital curation. In this context, the objective is to discuss the actions of digital curation with linked data principles, to promote the availability and access to data in institutions involved with cultural heritage. The research, classified as theoretical, bibliographic, qualitative, presents as results an application of data connected and made available by the integration of cultural heritage institutions from the analysis of Europeana, having as an example of application, Linked Logainm, listed for using the principles of Linked Data in dataset.
