Para isso, o estudo aborda os versos de El gran teatro del mundo escrito por Pedro Calderón de La Barca na primeira metade do século XVII. Os versos eloquentes retratam a exposição aguda de duas arquiteturas: uma superior, perfeita, elevada e eterna, a dos Céus, criada por Deus, e a outra, inferior, imperfeita, mundana e passageira, composta pertencente aos homens. Assim a pesquisa retrata a visão do poeta espanhol e também a antiga doutrina da mímesis. A arquitetura dos homens deveria imitar a arquitetura divina “usurpando-lhe os reflexos”, dando corpo a uma formosura que, por mais que se ilumine de esplendores celestes nunca seria mais que um belo jardim de “perecíveis flores”. </p><p>Palavras-Chaves: Barroco; Teatralização; Fantasia; Poesia; Traçado Urbano, Arquitetura.</p><p>Abstract: The article seeks to analyze the globalized universe of baroque architecture as a theater of the world. For this, the study approaches the verses of El gran Teatro del Mundo written by Pedro Calderón de La Barca in the first half of the 17th century. The eloquent verses portray the acute exposition of two architectures: one superior, perfect, elevated and eternal, that of Heaven, created by God, and the other, inferior, imperfect, mundane and fleeting, composed belonging to men. Thus, the research portrays the vision of the Spanish poet and also the ancient doctrine of mimesis. The architecture of men should imitate the divine architecture “usurping its reflections”, giving body to a beauty that, however illuminated by celestial splendours, would never be more than a beautiful garden of “perishable flowers”.</p><p>Keywords: Baroque; theatricalization; Fantasy; Poetry; Urban Layout; Baroque colonial architecture.</p><p> </p> ER -
