The Salões Nacionais de Arte (National Salons of art), occurred in the Museu de Arte da Pampulha in Belo Horizonte, were notable for selecting and rewarding a set of artistic works, many of which were incorporated in the collection of the museum. In the 1970s, the discussion of Landscape becomes recurrent on the artists’ proposals. For the development of the discussion, we selected the rewarded art works of Manfredo Souzanetto and Décio Noviello.
