ABSTRACT: Robotics has been used in some researches as an innovative technological resource for Education, so that Free Robotics has been contributing to be more accessible and allow schools to work with this technology from the reuse of materials, low cost materials and free software. From the concepts defended by the Free Robotics, an electric musical keyboard was developed with the aim of providing more creative and interactive educational activities, so the students could acquire some more knowledge of Physics and Programming related to the prototype. This equipment has been developed by three high school students in public school, with the collaboration of a student of the Federal University of Paraíba - Brazil. From the use of participant observation as a research tool, it was verified that this type of pedagogical practice using Robotics as a resource favors the teaching of such subjects, in addition to providing a reflection of the students in relation to the awareness about consumerism and discarding of materials. In this way, Robotics can be a good innovative tool to be used in schools, as well as changing the posture of students as citizens.

KEYWORDS: free robotics; physics teaching; programming; technology; Arduino.
ER -
