Resumo: A questão da posse da terra, as relações entre poder e linguagem, a leitura do mundo e a leitura da palavra são aspectos abordados nesta análise de um poema de Patativa do Assaré, poeta-cantador do nordeste do Brasil.

Abstract: The problem of the owners of the land, the relation between power and language, the reading of the world and the reading of the word; these are topics dealt with in this analysis of a poem by Patativa do Asaaré, a poet singing of the Brazilian northeast.
