Abstract
Breastfeeding is an act that favors the strengthening of the mother-child relationship, benefiting the health of the woman and the baby and the society. The objective of this article is the understanding of puerperae, admitted in UCINCa, the attendance of breastfeeding and the socio-human requirements that influence these processes. This is an exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, performed through semi-structured interviews, submitted to the thematic content analysis technique. The criteria were relevant, those related to the concepts of participants about the breastfeeding process, the feelings and concerns involved, and also the rules of the breastfeeding process, the feelings and concerns involved, and the process mother-baby. It is emphasized that as participants of the study demonstrated diverse conceptions related to breastfeeding. To the feelings and sensations, the puerperas predicted to amamentation like eaful the development of their sous children, which should be an error to an processes processes.
