CADASTRO DAS ÁREAS NATURAIS PROTEGIDAS EM MINAS GERAIS

Abstract

The directory of Protected Natural Areas in the State of Minas Gerais presents data concerning thelegally protected areas at federal and state levels as well as the municipalities involved in each area, itsdimensions, especific laws and the institutions responsible for the management of these areas. These dataare basic references for the development of environmental licencing of projects and also for the definitionof aliquats of the Ecological State Taxe, regarding the protected areas. This study indicates the need forthe establishment of a State Plan for the preservation of natural areas.
