Emotions, Gender and Pandemic
A Reading of Yoga Online in the Civilizing Process

This study aims to analyze the configurational elements that support the practice of online yoga during the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to understand at what stage of the civilizing process such a practice is possible and required, what are its civilizing elements and why they arise and if become important in the contemporary setting. From the analysis of the data produced in the application of an online questionnaire; from Donna Haraway's feminist critical empiricism and Elias' theory of the civilizing process, we list three categories that make up the configuration of online yoga: emotions, health and home environment. Afterwards, we reflect on yoga as a product of the civilizing process that meets the need to sublimate the emotions of subjects in the pandemic configuration.
