Abstract

Continuing with our study of the bird fauna of the city of Belo Horizonte and its surroundings, the area of the Pampulha Dan attracted our attention because it has diversified environmental and ecologic conditions, some of which different from those usually preferred by birds. Two hundred hours of observations were made in the area, which was divided into three sub-areas, each of them characteristic features. The work contains a general systematic list, of present in the area with remarks about their distribution and number in each sub-area.
