This paper reports on the presence of three species of Loxosceles inside houses in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais: L. similis Moenkhaus, L. laeta (Nicolet) and L. anomala (Mello-Leitão). The presence of these species represents a potential risk for the local inhabitants, once the Loxosceles venom is known for being toxic to humans.
