Abstract

Astyanax rivularis (Lütken, 1875) and Hasemania nana (Lütken, 1875) are added to the list of fishes known to occur in the Parque Nacional da Serra do Cipó. Diagnostic characters are present to help on future identification of these species. Comparison of morphological characters is done between A. rivularis and A. scabripinnis.
