Resumo

Este artigo analisa a contemplação estética em Asclepius 12-14, uma tradução latina do Λόγος Τέλειος, no contexto da literatura hermética. O texto apresenta modificações significativas e referências intertextuais, especialmente com o De Natura Deorum de Cícero, o que sugere uma adaptação para uma perspectiva mais retórica e literária. A pesquisa examina as influências estoicas, especialmente de Posidônio de Apameia, e sua integração com tradições filosóficas e teológicas helenísticas. Além disso, o estudo explora as técnicas de tradução, identificando helenismos e elementos de alternância de código que indicam a intenção do tradutor de preservar conceitos filosóficos gregos dentro do texto latino.
