FUNK TERRITORY AND FEMINITIES: SUBJECTIVITIES BUILT BETWEEN POWER RELATIONS, THE STREET AND VIOLENCE

The objective of this work was to understand the process of social construction of femininities in a popular slum neighborhood, its relations with violence and power in leisure moments in funk dances, and also to outline the main aspects of the configuration and organization of trams In the metropolitan area of Belo Horizonte, to discuss power relations, the establishment of leadership at different levels, rules, rearrangements for the enjoyment of leisure, codes of coexistence and the relationship between these and the local territoriality. In order to understand the complex relationships between subject, subjectivity, meanings and meanings in Territory Funk we adopt the historical cultural approach of Vygotsky and Fernando Rey's theory of subjectivity. We define the qualitative methodology as a strategy to reach the objectives and use the semi-structured interview with the young Girls / women funqueira and periguete. In this context, it was also the use of feminist lenses to understand the ethos present in the street, trying to understand the re-signification of the codes reworked by these young women in funk dances.Downloads
