The following article is presented as a review of the literature on the historical issue involving Brazilian football stadiums since its inception. When we grasp the problems dealt with in the text according to the theoretical framework used for this, we can see that they have a wide field of research to be explored. In front of this perspective of analysis, it is possible to affirm that the construction of the Brazilian stages was in phases, which presented different characteristics. The construction of these soccer squares begins at the beginning of the last century, and has gained different contours over the years, which allows us to parallel the conception of stadiums in Brazil, with the history of football here. It can be observed that the football stadium was, and continues being an important piece in the economic gear of football clubs, as these are devices that generate financial assets. It is possible to record that these football ventures today can be exploited in different ways, generating revenue to the owners of these sports venues not only from the sale of football tickets as it was in the past.Downloads
