Resumen

This paper reports on a study of a pre-service English teacher andher perceptions about her own classroom. The research designwas based on theoretical and empirical studies about classroomresearch and about the FL teacher, adopting an interpretivist andemic perspective. The main objective of the research was to searchfor a global understanding of how the FL teacher interprets theevents in the classroom, using retrospective interviews as the maindata collection instrument. The content of these interviews wascategorized, leading to the expansion of Richards’ (1998) reflectivecategories. The results of analysis led to a global view of theinformant’s perceptions of her classroom.
