About the Journal
REME - Revista Mineira de Enfermagem, created in 1997, is a technical-scientific periodical publication of the Nursing School at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Escola de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, UFMG/EE), Belo Horizonte, MG - Brazil. Its purpose is to contribute to disclosing, access and use of the knowledge produced in Nursing and related areas.
It is characterized as a periodical with national and international circulation, online publication, with open access, bilingual, articles in Portuguese/English or Spanish/English, and with abstracts and descriptors in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
In composition of the volume, the types of the articles are considered in the proportion of 80% for research and 20% for the other categories (report, review and reflection).
It adopts the “continuous publication” modality, or rolling pass. The abbreviation of its title, recommended for bibliographic citation purposes, is as follows: REME Rev Min Enferm.
All manuscripts submitted to REME must meet the EDITORIAL POLICY requirements and those set forth in the publication rules described in the INSTRUCTIONS TO THE AUTHORS.
The papers accepted for publication have their copyright transferred to REME and are published in compliance with the "Open Access" policies established by the CC-BY Creative Commons license.
It is affiliated with the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors (Associação Brasileira de Editores Científicos, ABEC), the Iberoamerican Network of Scientific Publishing in Nursing (Rede Iberoamericana de Editoração Científica em Enfermagem, RED Edit) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
