Abstract
This is how, in the first year of the plague that promises to become a normal condition, we open the first issue of (Des)troços with a dossier aimed at critically reading the COVID-19 pandemic, of which we are all tired. Unfortunately, the virus has not tired and must continue to be the object of our attention, since it is from it, as the truth of an era, that both liberation and, what seems to be more likely, the deepening of machinic subjections can be thought of. After all, the pandemic – any pandemic – is profoundly political, it is deeply linked to this dêmos without which there is no politics.
