Avaliação dos métodos de mensuração de cor dos dentes vitais

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar dois métodos de escolha de cor de dentes vitais. Foram selecionados 50 pacientes seguindo os critérios pré-estabelecidos. A avaliação da cor foi realizada nos incisivos centrais superiores. Para a avaliação da cor dos dentes foram utilizados dois métodos: escala de cor Vita Clássica (Vita-Zahnfabrik, Alemanha) (avaliação visual) e o aparelho espectrofotômetro Easyshade (Vita-Zahnfabrik, Alemanha) (avaliação instrumental). A prevalência ocorreu na cor A2 tendo equivalência entre os dois aparelhos. Concluímos que não houve diferença entre os métodos usados para a mensuração de cor.
