Resumo

Resumo: O presente artigo centra-se sobre Lisboaleipzig 1: o encontro inesperado do diverso, de Maria Gabriela Llansol, com o objetivo de refletir sobre o enquadramento pós-humanista evidenciado pela escrita de Llansol, procurando argumentar que nesta obra se ensaia uma celebração da interdependência entre o humano e o não humano. Contemplar-se-á, igualmente, uma análise mais ampla da obra de Llansol que, na nossa óptica, incorpora uma ética pós-humanista e encena formas dinâmicas e plurais de subjetividade.

Abstract: Our inquiry will focus on Maria Gabriela Llansol’s Lisboaleipzig 1: o encontro inesperado do diverso (Lisboaleipzig 1: The Unexpected Encounter with Diversity), aiming at reflecting on the posthumanist framework of Llansol’s writing in which it will be claimed that an interdependence between the human and the nonhuman is being enacted. We will also engage in a broader analysis of Llansol’s oeuvre, a body of work which, from our perspective, embodies posthumanist ethics and enacts dynamic and plural forms of subjectivity.

Ricardo Soeiro, Centro de Estudos Comparatistas, Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa

Ricardo Gil Soeiro (PhD, Univ. of Lisbon, 2009) is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Comparative Studies, where he currently conducts the following research project: A Sabedoria da Incerteza: Imaginação Literária e Poética da Obrigação. Formerly a professor at the ISLA Campus Lisboa – Laureate International Universities, he has taught graduate and postgraduate courses at the University of Lisbon, ranging from contemporary Portuguese literature to the MA course ‘Memory and Literature in a Globalised Culture’. His publications include Gramática da Esperança (Vega, 2009), Iminência do Encontro (Roma, 2009), collections of poetry, and the edited volume The Wounds of Possibility (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2012). His essays, articles, and reviews have appeared in numerous journals and collections, including Ellipsis, Ítaca, Impossibilia, and the Journal of Romance Studies. He is the recipient of several national literary and academic awards, including a PEN Prize, awarded in 2010.
