Abstract

Inserting in the context of Historical Cultural Heritage due to its importance, the Chiador Railway station projects itself as an object of instigation. In its ruins are imprinted the marks of time and the will to resist and revive. In this way, the historical and constructive aspects of the property are presented. Its structural system, composed of the vestiges of cover, walls, coverings and floors, are documentary sources of paramount importance in the understanding of the building, which despite the great historical relevance, faces a sad panorama, suffering daily from weather conditions, which systematically contribute to the emergence of various pathologies.
