Abstract

This article brings a brief operationalization of the Indisciplinary Cartographic Method based on the mapping of the main urban public policies implemented or planned for the Lagoinha region. It seeks to make possible the controversies that permeate territorial management strategies involving the triad State-Capital-Civil Society, urban resistance and movements of (un) investment of capital in the built environment. For this, the main human and non-human actors active in the multiple agencies of urban restructuring promoted in the Lagoinha region are identified. The originality is both in the method under development and in promoting the debate on the importance of participatory planning practices and the formulation of hypotheses as to the effects and consequences of gentrification in territories of historical and patrimonial value, with centrally strategic geographic location and under cyclical intentions of urban requalifications.
