ANÁLISE DE ORIENTAÇÕES DAS CARTAS PATRIMONIAIS E O POTENCIAL DA MODELAGEM DA INFORMAÇÃO DA CONSTRUÇÃO HISTÓRICA (HBIM) PARA A SALVAGUARDA DO PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL

Abstract

With the aim of making a theoretical contribution to the theme of Historical Building Information Modeling (HBIM), this article seeks to highlight its importance in the evolution of methodologies for safeguarding cultural heritage through documentary research of heritage charters and bibliographical research of productions on HBIM, to cross data with three points: 1) documentation, 2) information accessibility, and 3) interdisciplinarity. Several researches and applications of HBIM in the last decades demonstrate that, for the built cultural heritage, the representation of information is as important as the physical representation, for its registration and safeguard. The exploration shows that the application of HBIM and models focused on information management walks in consonance with the evolution of international discussions on cultural heritage, in addition to having ample potential to centralize solutions regarding the documentation of cultural heritage and make the management, maintenance and preservation something increasingly efficient and effective.
