Resumo: Neste artigo, destacam-se algumas ideias-chave da teoria da Recepção e da Intertextualidade, procurando-se apontar para o território comum que compartilham, mas também para certas fronteiras que as separam. Destaca-se a diversidade de enfoques em ambos os campos e se apontam problemas hermenêuticos complexos que ambos suscitam. De forma didática e tentativa, propõe-se um quadro que assinala pontos confluentes e não confluentes entre ambas as teorias e práticas. Por fim, apresenta-se um exemplo mais detalhado de análise intertextual e se procura mostrar como os princípios básicos da teoria da Recepção podem impedir as armadilhas positivistas. As considerações aqui tecidas são ilustradas por textos da literatura latina, o principal ponto de partida de nossa reflexão.

Abstract: This text points out to some key-notions of Reception theory and Intertextuality, and aims to signal the common field that they share but also some boards that separate them. It highlights the diversity of approaches in both fields and the complex hermeneutic questions that they arouse. It proposes, in a didactic and tentative way, a table in which confluences and distinctions of theories and practices are pointed out. Finally, a detailed example of intertextual analysis is explored, and one tries to show how the basic principles of the Reception theory may prevent us from falling in positivistic traps. The theoretical reflection proposed here is illustrated by examples taken from the Latin literature, the main start point of my observations.
