INTERNATIONAL BANK OF EDUCATIONAL OBJECTS (BIOE): INFORMATION TREATMENT IN A DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL REPOSITORY

Abstract

Allied to a wide dissemination in the use of digital repositories, the aspiration to become learning easier and more accessible originates the so called digital educational repositories. These repositories are information systems that allow reutilization and appliance of educational objects in different form and language. This paper is aimed to show a piece of the experience with defining actions that aim the informational treatment of digital educational resources in the International Bank of Educational Objects (BIOE) and the results of the utilization of such standards in the study done by the University of Brasilia.
