NATIONAL ARCHIVES POLICY IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF RIO GRANDE DO SUL

Abstract

The focus of the research that resulted in this article are archival public policy at the federal universities of Rio Grande do Sul. Thus, the results are presented as the vision of the archivists at the federal universities of Rio Grande do Sul on a national policy files. To conduct this research, we selected the three oldest Universities in the state, where questionnaires were administered consisting of open and closed questions. The instruments were administered to parents by the department in charge of documentation. The collected data were collected and analyzed qualitatively, and discussed based on theoretical reasoning. The discussion and reflection on public policies aimed at archival University Archives, indicate that the university archivists consider inadequate actions related to national policy files.
