Abstract

The target of this work was discuss prejudice and social inequality on Internet since an analysis of social networks sites considering Brazilian users. The paper analyses the discourse against the entrance of Orkut participants on Twitter and also evaluate Elysiants, the first luxury online community in the world, aimed to the creation of network composed only by wealthy people. It presents, as well, some results that suggest a cyberspace territorialization, just like happens on geographic division - in north zone (Orkut) for the less favored; and South zone (Twitter, Elysiants), for the more favored, among other findings presented.
