The new technologies: impact on coleection development
Abstract
With the introduction of the new technologies in the publishing industry new types of materiaIs appeared in the market making more difficult the task of selection. In the last year, automation came to the sector of selection/acquisition in the libraries/information units forcing operational and structural changes.
