Authors

  • Jean-Rémi Brault

Abstract

From the largely accepted Unesco proposal, concerning what would be a national library, the author reflects about what it will in the next centuries. Analyses the national library functions and try to antecipate in what measure and in what sense this functions will develop. Deeply convinced about the essential role of national library in the cultural life of the country, the author wishes that these national institutions turn on to the best use of the available technologies.
