The information search in multidisciplinary teams: a case study of a psychiatric institution.
Abstract
This study was developed at the Instituto Raul Soares – IRS and concerns to the behavior of information seeking of the members of the clinician team, composed by physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers and others kinds of physicians. The aim of the study was to determine how the professionals of the IRS seek significant information for their jobs. The results show the importance of the organization (or reorganization) of information services that take into consideration the implications of multidisciplinary works in the traditional environment of the discipline-centered libraries.Downloads
