Rethoric-Ideology-Information: Is this discussion relevant to the information scientist? This paper presents a discussion on the rethoric-ideology-information relationship with theobjective of raising questions about the rethorical and ideological dimensions which are present in information.After a theoretical and interdisciplinary reflection about these concepts, the paper attempts to indicate the relevancy of this discussion and the possibilities of its incorporation on the theory of information science.
