Abstract

Nowadays information is an essential element in modern companies. Qualified professionals are necessary to act in such informational environments as the business environment requires an information professional that knows the techniques for the creation, control, dissemination and access to high quality and timely information. This kind of work demands an information professional that has initiative, flexibility, and entrepreneur’s characteristics, is creative and an independent learner, and knows the technologies in order to incorporate innovations that appear continually.
