Revisiting reference work: a theoretical contribution for interpretative research
Abstract
The "teacher thinking paradigm" legitimates this theoretical approach to reference work, which intends to contribute for the development of interpretative or qualitative research. Reference work is considered as an clinical processing of information, and as a decisionmaking process. The information professional is viewed as a reflective pratitioner, whose actions are the result of significant and intentional connections among thoughts.Downloads
