Abstract

Conceptual knowledge structures may be used in information systems to improve the computational performance of the search and to present an interface for easy manipulation by user. Among the Conceptual models used to represent knowledge structure, the ontology is becoming increasingly widespread in the Information and computer science communities. This work discusses the information, information systems and the application of ontology in computational information systems.
