Abstract

A reflection on the opportunity of a dialogue between information science and other areas of contemporary knowledge. Whether the latter be transitory, revolutionary or neither, they suggest a further possibility to put forward and respond questions which call for the intervention of information science, a field in constant formation that shares the same objects of study with other disciplines and presentes itself in a favorable position to promote this dialogue.
