Abstract

Environmental information has a fundamental role to overcome the environmental crises we tive today. It contributes to the preservation of natural environments and also those that were built by men. Unfortunately it is limited by the absence of a connection between the worlds of information and the reality of the population that is submitted to public environmental policies. In this sense, information professionals should facilitate the diffusion of environmental information, contributing to the self-sustainable development of the country.
