The work of the information unit manager under different administration perspectives
Abstract
The work of the information unit manager is discussed under different administration perspectives (learning management, competences and leadership) as an attempt to understand the role of this professional. In one of the approaches, the function of the manager is defined as planning, organizing, directing and controlling. Others concentrate on the evaluation of regular activities and the need of an integrated view of the unit as a way to help in the decision making process.Downloads
