Analysis of Interdisciplinary Relations of Scientific Researches in Information Systems

Abstract

A descriptive framework about the interdisciplinary relations of researches in Information System was built based on a review of scientific publications, in which the characteristics, the historical course and the methodological criteria were delineated. Thus an analysis of papers published between 1985 and 2005 was accomplished for this research, totaling 105 articles. The results show a tendency for interdisciplinary approaches mainly between Information Science, Computer Science and Administration Science, each with their own variables that can interact with one another.
