Criação e disseminação do conhecimento na Fundação Hemominas

Abstract

The article presents concepts and features on the information society, governance and information policies and its relation with the processes of knowledge creation and dissemination. Through interviews and under the SESI model, these processes are identified and analyzed in several areas of Foundation Hemominas. In the actions and practices of the institution the survey searches for elements of information policy implicit or explicit established that would catalyze the methods of creation and conversion of knowledge. It is concluded that although there is a common practice to record and share knowledge, it is not very frequently that this practice extrapolate the bounds of the area where it happens. Notes that the actions occur as a result of the search for improved production processes or management, but not as a result of an information policy directed to knowledge creation and dissemination as an agent of innovation.
