Conceptual map as a knowledge organization technique for hypertext systems and its cognitive aspects

Abstract

This article presents concepts related to conceptual cap, developed by NOVAK (1984) derived from the Learning Theory (AUSUBEL, 1963; AUSUBEL, 1968; AUSUBEL, NOVAK e HANESIAN, 1978). It also discusses its prospective uses as knowledge organization and as a form of graphic hypertext representation technique, based on previous knowledge stored in memory and which allows the formation of semantic frames in a specific field.
