LÓGICA CLÁSICA Y LÓGICAS NO CLÁSICAS EN MODELOS DE RECUPERACIÓN DE LA INFORMACIÓN

Resumen

El uso de la lógica en los modelos de recuperación de la información (RI) se examina a través de un estudio bibliográfico de la producción en el campo y el análisis crítico de trabajos relevantes. La encuesta revela un volumen creciente de investigación sobre modelos no clásicos que incorporan incertidumbre, especialmente lógica difusa en sistemas de RI. Se discute la evolución de los sistemas basados en lógicas no clásicas a partir de la lógica clásica/booleana. Concluye con un intento de responder a las críticas contra el formalismo lógico y reconoce la evolución técnica y conceptual representada por la introducción de modelos lógicos no clásicos en el campo de las RI.
