The objective of this study is to promote the construction of the state of knowledge of scientific articles on skateboarding, youth, and leisure. The search took place on the Scielo and Google Scholar platforms, within the temporal scope of 2013-2022, using the following descriptors: "Youth"; "Young people"; "Leisure"; "Public space"; "Territory"; and "Skateboarding". The research corpus comprised 18 articles, whose data were extracted and organized into a database. The journal with the most published texts was Licere, with 03 articles. Half of the first authors held a doctorate, with the majority being male (n = 12). All works employed a qualitative approach and used interviews, observations, field diaries, and bibliographic reviews as instruments for data production. The most cited authors in the references of the texts were Leonardo Brandão, Giancarlo Marques, and José Guilherme Magnani. The dialogue spaces in the research refer to the presentation of skateboarding within its process of sportsification and to controversies regarding its transformation into an Olympic sport. Beyond the field of sportsification research, some of the works aim to understand and problematize the subjectivities of young skateboarders, their relationship with certain spaces, and their socialization within the community.
