THE MECHANIZATION IN THE CONTEXT OF WORKER EXPERIENCES
THE DEEPENING OF LABOR PRECARIZATION BASED ON PARTIAL STUDIES IN THE FIELD OF LEISURE

With the development of new technologies and their implementation in the labor market—marked initially by the Industrial Revolution in England—workers have experienced constant changes in their work experiences and labor rights. This study aims to analyze the impacts of the implementation of these technologies and the mechanization of processes on workers over the years, contrasted with leisure studies that indicate a positive relationship between the increasing mastery of technology in work tools and the increase in leisure time—non-working time—for workers. Initially, a general analysis of the impacts of mechanization on the labor market was conducted, which was then narrowed and specified to the field of tourism. To achieve this, a bibliographic review was conducted using databases such as Web of Science and Publicações de Turismo, as well as material collected over the years on the subject. The research revealed the consequences of mechanization for workers, in light of the ideals of constant improvement and its perpetuation as a tool for the precarization of labor, juxtaposed with the pursuit of capital appreciation and benefits.
