Abstract
The aim of the study was to measure the degree of satisfaction of visitors to the main public parks in the city of Belém, Pará. In methodological terms, the research was bibliographic with field activity. Data collection was carried out in four public parks in the city of Belém, namely: Jardim botânico Bosque Rodrigues Alves, Parque Zoobotânico Mangal das Garças, Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi and Unidade de Conservação Parque do Utinga. For this, a questionnaire was applied on the same day and time interval, based on the level of satisfaction of regulars in relation to cleanliness, safety, structure, convenience, location and accessibility of the place visited. The results showed that the greatest satisfaction of users was attending the Parque do Utinga in relation to the other parks, as well as the highest number of complaints were to Bosque Rodrigues Alves. The safety of the environments was prioritized by women, as they felt much less secure than men in the parks, while men were much happier with the cleanliness of the parks. The state of preservation influences the choice of these environments for leisure and helps to improve the quality of life of its visitors.
