Abstract

The present text seeks to trace reflections over the alienation of labor on leisure. For this, we will analyze the work category and the four dimensions of human alienation placed by Marx in Economic Manuscripts: (1) to the products or results of their activities, (2) to the realization process of the activity, (3) to oneself and to other human beings and (4) to the nature where they live. Then, we discuss the dimensions of the alienation of labor on leisure and we defend they occur on it. However, that brings us the possibility of another not alienated perspective about the process and the outcome of leisure, since they are not totally unfamiliar to the human being.
