Abstract

Any observer of the reality can see that cultural and leisure practices have more and more elements in common. Culture and leisure have blurred their borders so that, often, their relationships have become complex, difficult to demarcate in an objective way. The actual leisure has generated a culture, with entity in itself, which creates networks and ties in the people who experience it. In this context, where concepts and lifestyles converge, the article analyzes the cultures that shape the culture of leisure, considering this phenomenon from its positive side. From the results of different empirical researches, the differences between five types of leisure cultures are required: playful, creative, festive, environmental-ecological or solidarity. These cultures are also manifestations of the current culture on which it is invited to reflect.
