Abstract

This is a report of an experience, where the author describes her dificulties in accomplish her role of being a mother, up to now dreamed up with perfection. She also describes her child,s behaviour in the first months of life, many times unrestless, suggesting a possible relation between this behaviour and the high anxiety level of the mother during this period of time.
