This work describes the sustained teaching experience in the problematical pedagogic concept. Presents the historic aspects of the Nursing Especialization Course in Public Health implant in the UFMG Nursing School. Informs about the antecedents and the curricular model of the course, giving emphasis on the propose of program's conjecture ampliation and facilitates the access to nurses from the basic services of health. Gives attention to the descentralization modality of the course and to the teaching-learning's methodologies given. Shows the quantitative results of the students to 1988 until 1986. Concludes with a reaffirmation of the importancy of the course as a strategy to capacitate nurses to act in the Basis Services of Health.Downloads
