This is a study about adolescents' perception of sexuality in the setting in which they live. It was carried out with 55 teenage boys and girls aged 15 to 18 years old at a high school in Santo Eduardo, in the town of Embú, state of São Paulo. Data was collected through a group workshop and we made a content analysis showing the categories: misconceptions, sex concepts, sexuality; media influence; eroticism; pornography; and prostitution. The results indicate conceptual confusion in the terminology, which suggests the need to cover them in the sexual education activities for adolescents.Downloads
