This is a literature review study that concerns the use of ferrous sulfate during the pregnancy, and its goal is: to know the effects of daily and weekly use of ferrous sulfate in the gestational period and to identify the advantages and disadvantages of daily and weekly use of ferrous sulfate in the gestational period. The study results also indicated that there are still many uncertainties and controversies about the treatment, it is also important to let the pregnant woman know about the undesirable effect of the use of ferrous sulfate and to follow the treatment to prevent its precocious abandonment, due to the undesirable effects of the medicine.Downloads
