Abstract

This study is a bibliographical revision of hepatitis C and nursing with the aim of analyzing the output during the period 1994-2004. Fifty-two articles were analyzed. The average production was 4.72 articles per year, of which 55% were exploratory studies. Two great areas are concentrated on: 36.4% on the impact of hepatitis C on the population, and 36.2% on occupational risk. The area knowledge evaluation/attitude was present in only 3.5% of the production. This area is considered one with great potential for the development of knowledge in nursing and one where future work should be encouraged.
